Recipe:
Ingredients:
Base Layers:
1 box (14.4 oz) of graham crackers
2 packs (3.4 oz each) of instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups of cold milk
1 container (8 oz) of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
Chocolate Topping:
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the pudding mix and cold milk together until thickened.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated, creating a creamy mixture.
Assemble the Layers:
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, place a single layer of graham crackers on the bottom, breaking them to fit as needed.
Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the crackers.
Add another layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding.
Spread the remaining pudding mixture over the second layer of crackers.
Top with one final layer of graham crackers.
Prepare the Chocolate Topping:
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer (do not boil).
Remove from heat and pour over the chocolate chips in a bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Add butter to the mixture and stir until glossy.
Top and Chill:
Pour the chocolate ganache over the top layer of graham crackers, spreading evenly with a spatula.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow the crackers to soften and the flavors to meld.
Serve:
Slice into squares and enjoy!
This dessert is a delightful combination of creamy, crunchy, and chocolatey goodness, perfect for any gathering. Enjoy!
