Introduction:
This creamy, cheesy baked crab dip is the perfect appetizer for parties, family gatherings, or a cozy night in. Packed with savory crab meat, melty cheese, and flavorful spices, it’s best served warm with crackers, bread, or fresh veggies for dipping.
Ingredients:
1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
1 cup cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Crackers, toasted bread, or vegetables for serving
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
Add 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Gently fold in the crab meat, being careful not to break it apart too much.
Assemble the Dip:
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup cheddar cheese on top.
Bake:
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.
Tips:
Use fresh lump crab meat for the best flavor, but canned crab works well too.
For added flavor, sprinkle chopped parsley or a dash of hot sauce before serving.
Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven.
Enjoy this rich and cheesy baked crab dip at your next gathering!
