Festive White Chocolate Peppermint Bombs


 Make your holidays extra magical with these stunning white chocolate peppermint bombs! These treats combine a creamy white chocolate shell, a festive peppermint crunch, and a delightful cherry on top. Perfect for gifts, parties, or as a sweet indulgence for yourself.

Ingredients:

For the Shells:


2 cups (400g) white chocolate chips or candy melts

Silicone sphere molds

For the Filling:


Crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Marshmallows (mini)

Hot cocoa powder (optional, if you want a hot cocoa bomb effect)

For Decoration:



Red cherries (with stems)

¼ cup (50g) crushed peppermint candies

2 tablespoons melted milk or dark chocolate (for drizzling)

Instructions:

Melt the White Chocolate:

Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Create the Shells:

Spread the melted chocolate evenly inside the silicone sphere molds using a spoon or pastry brush. Ensure a thick, even coating.

Chill the molds in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes until set.

Gently remove the chocolate shells from the molds.

Fill the Bombs:

Add crushed peppermint, mini marshmallows, and cocoa powder (if desired) to half of the shells.

Seal the Bombs:

Warm a small plate in the microwave. Press the edges of an empty chocolate shell briefly on the warm plate to slightly melt it.

Quickly place it over a filled shell and press gently to seal. Repeat for all bombs.

Decorate:

Drizzle melted milk or dark chocolate over the bombs.

Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.

Top with a cherry, using a dab of melted chocolate to adhere it.

Serve or Gift:

Serve as a standalone dessert, or pour hot milk over the bombs for a festive drink. Watch the magic happen as they melt and reveal their contents!
