Ingredients:
2½ lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 packet onion soup mix
½ cup butter, melted
½ cup sour cream
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: Chopped parsley or shredded cheese for topping

Instructions:
1. Prepare the potatoes by peeling and slicing them into even rounds.
2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sour cream, onion soup mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Layer half the sliced potatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker.
4. Sprinkle half of the chopped onion over the potatoes.
5. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the layer.
6. Repeat layers with the remaining potatoes, onions, and sauce.
7. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until potatoes are fork-tender.
8. Top with chopped parsley or shredded cheese before serving if desired
