KFC ORIGINAL SECRET CHICKEN RECIPE

by

We all know the story of the Colonel’s 11 secret herbal and spice recipes kept in a top secret vault, and no one knows the original recipe. But recently, Colonel Joe Ledington’s nephew revealed that he has a scrapbook that contains the original handwritten recipe.

Of course, the parent company Yum! They claim the released recipe does not contain real ingredients, but we put them to the test, and it’s very close. Try the recipe below and let us know your thoughts on how it compares!

Important tip – before starting, make sure all ingredients are at room temperature, because we don’t want cold chicken that lowers the temperature of the oil when frying!

Ingredients:

° 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces

° 3 eggs, beaten

° 4 tablespoons of oil

+ To paint

° 2 cups flour

° 4 teaspoons paprika

° 1 teaspoon salt

° 1 teaspoon pepper

° 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (or chicken broth powder)

° 1 teaspoon of oregano

° 1 teaspoon tarragon

° 1 teaspoon parsley

° 1/2 teaspoon thyme

° 1 teaspoon of chives

° 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

° 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

° 1/2 teaspoon celery salt

* Directione:

Sift the flour, add all the ingredients for the coating, grind it well with a mortar and pestle, and place it in a clean plastic bag. Cover each chicken piece first with the beaten egg, then with the flour mixture in the bag. Make sure each piece is completely covered in flour.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Slowly fry the chicken in oil without covering it. Once it turns brown, cover the skillet and continue frying over a very low heat until the chicken is completely cooked. Placing on paper towels to leak excess.

Creamy White Chocolate Mousse Recipe

by

 Introduction

Passion fruit mousse is a delightful and refreshing dessert that combines the tangy flavor of passion fruit with the  creamy richness of condensed milk and heavy cream.

This recipe is quick to prepare and results in a smooth, velvety mousse that will surely be a hit at any gathering.

Its tropical taste is perfect for warm weather, and it’s an ideal choice for both casual and festive occasions.

Ingredients

_1 can of sweetened condensed milk (395g)

_1 can of heavy cream (300ml), using the same condensed milk can for measurement

_1 cup of passion fruit juice (240ml), preferably concentrated

Instructions

Start by preparing a mixing bowl large enough to accommodate all the ingredients. Pour in the sweetened.

condensed milk and heavy cream ensuring that you use the same can for the heavy cream to maintain accurate proportions.

Add the passion fruit juice to the mixture. If you’re using concentrated juice, make sure to mix it thoroughly to ensure an even distribution of flavor throughout the mousse.

Using a whisk or electric mixer, begin mixing the ingredients on low speed, gradually increasing to medium speed.

Continue until the mixture thickens and achieves a creamy, smooth consistency. This process typically takes a few minutes, depending on the mixer.

Once the mousse has reached the desired consistency, transfer it into individual serving cups or a large dish. Use a spatula to smooth the top for an even appearance.

Refrigerate the mousse for at least 3 hours, allowing it to set properly. This will help the mousse achieve its light, airy texture.

After the mousse has set, garnish it with additional passion fruit pulp or other tropical fruits if desired. This adds a pop of color and extra flavor.

Serve the mousse chilled and enjoy its delightful combination of sweetness and tartness from the passion fruit.

How to Make

To make this passion fruit mousse, begin by gathering all the necessary ingredients. You’ll need condensed milk.

heavy cream, and passion fruit juice—each of which contributes to the dessert’s rich and vibrant flavor profile.

The condensed milk adds sweetness, while the heavy cream ensures a luscious, creamy texture.

After measuring out the ingredients, mix the condensed milk and heavy cream in a bowl. The key is to whisk them together until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

Slowly pour in the passion fruit juice, and continue whisking until everything is evenly blended.

It’s important to mix the ingredients at the correct speed, starting slow to avoid splattering and then gradually increasing to medium speed.

The goal is to incorporate air into the mixture, which helps the mousse become light and fluffy.

Once you’ve achieved the right texture, portion the mousse into individual servings.

or pour it into a larger dish if you prefer to serve it family-style. Be sure to smooth the top for a neat, professional finish.

Allow the mousse to set in the refrigerator for a few hours, giving the ingredients time to meld together.

The longer it sets, the better the mousse will hold its shape and texture.

When the mousse is ready to serve, you can enhance the presentation with a few decorative touches.

A sprinkle of passion fruit seeds or a few mint leaves can add both visual appeal and extra flavor.

Finally, enjoy this tropical treat chilled and savor the perfect balance of sweetness and tang.

Tips

To achieve the best texture for your mousse, make sure that the heavy cream is chilled before using. This will help it whip up more effectively, resulting in a fluffier mousse.

If you can’t find fresh passion fruit, passion fruit pulp or concentrate works just as well. Make sure to adjust the sweetness if using a very sweet concentrate.

For an even creamier texture, you can substitute some of the heavy cream with mascarpone  cheese.

This will add richness without overpowering the passion fruit flavor.

If you prefer a slightly less sweet mousse, you can adjust the amount of condensed milk. Start with less and taste the mixture before setting it in the fridge.

To add extra flavor, consider incorporating a touch of vanilla extract or coconut milk. This can give your mousse a more complex, tropical taste.

For a more indulgent treat, you can top the mousse with whipped cream or chocolate shavings. This will enhance the richness and add a delightful contrast to the tart passion fruit.

If you have time, let the mousse chill overnight. This will allow the flavors to deepen and the mousse to set perfectly.

Conclusion

Passion fruit mousse is an easy-to-make yet incredibly satisfying dessert that’s sure to impress anyone who tries it.

The combination of passion fruit’s natural tartness with the sweetness of condensed milk and the creaminess of heavy cream makes for an unforgettable treat.

Whether you’re serving it at a dinner party, family gathering, or simply indulging yourself, this dessert is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that’s both delicious and refreshing.

The Delightful World of Banana Cream Pie Cupcakes

by

This delightful dessert offers a perfect blend of creamy filling, fresh bananas, and a crumbly crust, all topped with whipped cream.

The Components of Banana Cream Pie Cupcakes:

The Crust:

The base of the banana cream pie cupcake is often a graham cracker crust, which provides a sweet and slightly crunchy foundation.

To make this crust, crushed graham crackers are combined with melted butter and a touch of sugar. This mixture is then pressed into cupcake liners and baked briefly to set.

The Filling:

The filling is the heart of these cupcakes. A traditional banana cream filling is made with a combination of fresh bananas and a rich custard.

The custard is typically made from scratch using milk, eggs, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract, cooked until thickened. Once cooled, the custard is folded with sliced bananas to create a luscious filling.

The Topping:

The cupcakes are topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream. The whipped cream can be homemade, using heavy cream and a bit of sugar, or store-bought for convenience. To add extra flair, the cupcakes can be garnished with banana slices and a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce.

Creating Banana Cream Pie Cupcakes:

Bake for 5-7 minutes, then let cool completely.

Make the Filling:

In a saucepan, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil.

Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla extract.

Let the custard cool, then fold in sliced bananas.

Assemble the Cupcakes:

Spoon the banana custard into the prepared crusts, filling each to the top.

Chill the filled cupcakes in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.

Prepare the Topping:

In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Pipe or spoon the whipped cream over the chilled custard filling.

Decorate with banana slices and a drizzle of caramel sauce.

Cheesy Sausage Puff Pastry Rolls Recipe

by

 Introduction

This savory  puff pastry recipe is perfect for a quick meal or an appetizer that’s sure to impress.

The combination of crispy, flaky  pastry with flavorful sausage, cheese, and Italian herbs creates a delightful bite for any occasion.

Whether you’re hosting a party or simply want a tasty snack, this recipe is easy to make and guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

-1 sheet of puff pastry, thawe

-1 pound (450g) of ground sausage (or pre-cooked sausages

-1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend)

-1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (or oregano)

-1 teaspoon garlic powder

-1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional topping)

Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the pastry from sticking and set aside.

If you’re using ground sausage, heat a pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it is browned and fully cooked through.

If using pre-cooked sausages, chop them into small pieces.

Once the sausage is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.

Stir in the shredded cheese, Italian herbs, and garlic powder, mixing until everything is evenly combined.

Lightly dust your work surface with flour and roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet. Make sure it’s large enough to fold over the filling without it spilling out.

Spread the sausage and cheese mixture evenly down the center of the pastry, leaving a little space on the edges for folding.

Fold the sides of the pastry over the filling, and then carefully roll it into a log shape, sealing the edges as you go.

Brush the top of the pastry with the beaten egg to give it a golden finish, and sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on top if desired.

Place the pastry onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

How to Make

To begin, ensure your puff pastry is completely thawed before using it. This ensures it rolls out easily and doesn’t tear when you add the filling.

While the sausage is cooking, it’s helpful to prepare your filling ingredients so you can assemble everything quickly.

You can even make the filling ahead of time and store it in the fridge.

For a crispy exterior, brush the pastry with an egg wash before baking.

This step creates a beautiful golden-brown crust and adds an extra shine to the pastry.

If you want to add more flavor.

consider incorporating finely chopped onions, peppers, or even spinach into the sausage mixture.

Make sure the sausage mixture is not too wet when spreading it on the pastry, as excess moisture could cause the pastry to become soggy.

To ensure even cooking, slice the pastry roll into even sections before serving, which also helps with presentation.

If you prefer bite-sized portions, you can cut the pastry into smaller pieces before baking, creating  sausage and cheese pinwheels instead of a whole roll.

Tips

Using a high-quality puff pastry will significantly improve the texture and flavor of your dish. Look for a butter-based  puff pastry for the best results.

If you don’t have an egg for the egg wash, you can use a tablespoon of milk or cream as a substitute.

For extra flavor, add a bit of hot sauce or mustard to the sausage filling. The spicy kick pairs well with the richness of the cheese and sausage.

When choosing your cheese, try using a blend of cheddar and mozzarella for a perfect combination of sharpness and meltiness.

Don’t overstuff the pastry with filling, as this can make it difficult to seal and could lead to spillage while baking.

If you want to prepare this dish ahead of time, you can assemble the pastry and refrigerate it for up to a day before baking.

Just make sure to let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before baking.

Experiment with other herbs, such as thyme or rosemary, to give the filling a more distinct flavor that complements the sausage and cheese.

Conclusion

This sausage and cheese puff pastry is an easy yet flavorful recipe that works for any occasion, from casual

snacks to festive appetizers. The flaky pastry, savory filling, and golden finish make it an irresistible treat.

With its flexibility in ingredients and simple preparation, it’s a recipe you’ll come back to time and time again. Enjoy it fresh from the oven, and watch as your guests enjoy every bite!

Homemade Ice Cream with Only 3 Ingredients

by

 ### Introduction:

Homemade ice  cream is a treat that brings the joy of indulgence while allowing you to control what goes into it. The beauty of making ice cream at home is that it doesn’t require an ice cream maker or complicated ingredients.

With just three simple ingredients, you can create a  creamy, delicious frozen dessert that’s sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. This three-ingredient ice cream recipe is not only quick and easy but also customizable, making it an excellent base for experimenting with different flavors and textures.Cream-based desserts

### Origin and Cultural Significance:

Ice cream has a rich history, with origins tracing back to ancient China, Persia, and eventually Europe. While the modern ice cream we know today emerged in 18th-century Europe and America, the concept of frozen desserts has been enjoyed for centuries.

Homemade ice cream, however, gained significant popularity in the 20th century as refrigeration and modern kitchen appliances became more accessible. Today, ice cream is a universal comfort food that transcends cultural boundaries, enjoyed by people all over the world in various forms and flavors. The simplicity of the three-ingredient version aligns with a growing trend of minimalism in cooking, celebrating the art of preparing food with fewer ingredients, yet maximizing flavor.

### Cultural Significance:

In many cultures, ice cream is more than just a treat; it’s part of celebrations and traditions. Whether it’s a birthday party in the U.S., a festival in Italy, or a summer afternoon gathering in Japan, ice cream plays a role in bringing people together. The three-ingredient ice cream recipe highlights a cultural shift toward making homemade, wholesome foods that can be easily shared, enjoyed, and personalized by families and friends.

### Ingredients and Quantities:

– **Heavy cream (2 cups)**: This is the base of your ice cream, providing the creamy texture and richness.

– **Sweetened condensed milk (1 can, approx. 14 oz)**: Acts as a natural sweetener and emulsifier, creating the smooth, sweet consistency typical of ice cream.

– **Vanilla extract (1-2 teaspoons)**: Adds flavor and depth to your ice cream. You can adjust this depending on your preference for vanilla flavor.

### Optional Additions:

– **Chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or fruit**: Fold in small amounts (1/2 to 1 cup) for added texture and flavor.

– **Nut butters** (peanut butter, almond butter): Stir in 1-2 tablespoons for a rich, nutty taste.

– **Spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, or cocoa powder**: Add 1 teaspoon for a warm flavor twist.

– **Coffee or espresso powder**: A teaspoon of instant coffee or espresso powder can give your ice cream a rich, caffeinated kick.

### Tips for Success:

1. **Chill your mixing bowl and beaters**: Before whipping the cream, chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge for about 10 minutes. This helps the cream whip up faster and more easily.

2. **Don’t overmix**: When whipping the cream, stop once stiff peaks form. Overwhipping can turn the cream into butter.

3. **Freezing time**: For the creamiest texture, freeze the ice cream for at least 4-6 hours, ideally overnight.

4. **Texture**: If the ice  cream is too hard when you take it out of the freezer, let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften.

### Instructions:

1. **Whip the cream**: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form (you can use a hand mixer or stand mixer for this).

2. **Add the  condensed milk and vanilla**: Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract into the whipped cream until fully combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.

3. **Freeze**: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top with a spatula. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or a lid.

4. **Freeze for at least 4-6 hours**: Let the ice cream freeze until firm. For best results, leave it in the freezer overnight.

5. **Serve and enjoy**: Scoop and serve your creamy, homemade ice cream. Add any optional toppings or mix-ins as desired.

### Description:

This homemade three-ingredient ice cream offers a velvety smooth texture with the perfect balance of sweetness.

The heavy cream provides richness, while the sweetened condensed milk adds an extra layer of sweetness and smoothness, creating a luxurious dessert without the need for a machine or complex steps. With a subtle hint of vanilla, it serves as the perfect base for endless flavor variations.

Delicious beef Ribs: A Culinary Delight

Few dishes are as universally loved as pork ribs. Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, they are a true comfort food.

Whether you’re craving the smoky richness of barbecue ribs, the tangy sweetness of an Asian-inspired glaze, or the savory goodness of a slow-cooked stew, beef ribs offer endless possibilities.

This recipe captures the essence of mouthwatering beef ribs, cooked to perfection, with a balance of flavors and textures.

Perfect for gatherings, family dinners, or even solo indulgence, this dish promises to be a hit every time.

Let’s dive into creating the most delicious beef ribs you’ve ever tasted.

Ingredients:

• 1 kg beef ribs (cut into small pieces)

• 2 tbsp soy sauce

• 1 tbsp oyster sauce

• 1 tbsp hoisin sauce

• 1 tbsp sugar or honey (for caramelization)

• 1/2 tsp black pepper

• 2 cloves garlic (minced)

• 2 tbsp cooking oil

• 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

Marinate the Ribs: Mix the beef ribs with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Sauté the Garlic: Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Cook the Ribs: Add the marinated ribs into the pan and sear them until they are browned on all sides.

Caramelize: Add water to the pan, lower the heat, and let it simmer. Stir occasionally until the sauce thickens and the ribs are well-coated in a caramelized glaze.

Serve: Once done, remove the ribs from the pan and serve hot with rice.

Tips

Cooking for Tenderness: Always cook pork ribs low and slow to achieve tender, fall-off-the-bone meat. Use methods like slow roasting, braising, or cooking in a pressure cooker to lock in moisture and flavor.

For grilled ribs, pre-cook them in the oven or boiling water before finishing them on the grill.

Enhancing Flavor: Marinate the ribs overnight for maximum flavor absorption.

Basting with sauce during the final stages of cooking helps to caramelize the glaze, creating a mouthwatering crust.

Pair your ribs with spices and seasonings that complement the sauce, like smoked paprika, garlic, or a hint of cayenne.

Variations

Asian-Style Ribs: For a tangy and sweet variation, use a marinade of soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.

Add sesame oil and chili flakes for an extra kick. Glaze the ribs with hoisin or teriyaki sauce while grilling or roasting for a glossy finish.

Classic Barbecue Ribs: Stick to the classic American barbecue style with a smoky dry rub of paprika, brown sugar, cumin, and mustard powder.

Slather the ribs in your favorite barbecue sauce and finish them on the grill for a rich, smoky flavor.

How to Store

Refrigerating Leftovers: Allow the ribs to cool completely before storing.

Place them in an airtight container or wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Freezing for Later: For longer storage, wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil, or use a freezer-safe bag.

Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.

3. **Dry Thoroughly:** After soaking, make sure to dry the potatoes thoroughly before seasoning to ensure maximum crispness.

– Carefully add the potato squares in batches, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

– Fry for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.

– Remove from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

1/2 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (cornstarch slurry)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Cooked white rice or steamed rice, for serving

Instructions:

Marinate the Steak:

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Toss the sliced steak in the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables:

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Steak:

In the same pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the marinated steak in batches, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the beef broth, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Bring the sauce to a simmer.

Combine and Serve:

Add the cooked steak, onions, and peppers back into the pan. Toss everything together in the sauce, allowing it to coat the ingredients evenly.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve:

Serve the sizzling Chinese pepper steak over a bed of steamed white rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.

Classic Glazed Apple Fritters

by

 Introduction:

These warm, crispy, and irresistibly glazed Apple Fritters satisfy your sweet cravings! Packed with chunks of fresh apple, spiced with cinnamon, and drizzled with a sweet glaze, these fritters are a delightful treat perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy afternoon snack.

Recipe: Glazed Apple Fritters

Ingredients:

For the Fritters:

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon salt

⅔ cup (160ml) whole milk

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups (about 2 medium) apples, peeled, cored, and diced

Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Glaze:

1 ½ cups (180g) powdered sugar

2-3 tablespoons milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Prepare the Fritter Batter:

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the diced apples.

Heat the Oil:

In a deep skillet or heavy-bottomed pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.

Fry the Fritters:

Drop about ¼ cup of batter into the hot oil for each fritter. Fry 2-3 fritters at a time, depending on the size of your pot, to avoid overcrowding.

Cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Make the Glaze:

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the milk for the desired consistency.

Glaze the Fritters:

While the fritters are still warm, dip them into the glaze or drizzle the glaze over them. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.

Tips:

Use tart apples like Granny Smith for a balance of sweetness and acidity.

Enjoy the fritters fresh for the best texture, but you can reheat them in a toaster oven for a crispier result.

Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth and flavor.

Indulge in the perfect combination of crispy, sweet, and fruity goodness!
